Job Description

  • Assisting in IP prosecution work (mainly focusing on trademarks), IP enforcement, and other IP-related tasks as assigned.
  • Providing and assisting in the preparation of legal advice on trademarks, copyrights, and/or other IP-related matters.
  • Preparing and filing documents with the Thai Department of Intellectual Property.
  • Collaborating with the Thai Department of Intellectual Property and other relevant authorities (such as customs officials) as required.
  • Conducting legal research and other assigned tasks.
  • Providing substantive input and drafting preliminary options and reports for IP matters.
  • Providing any necessary support to supervisors, including monitoring work deadlines, managing work databases, communicating with clients, and assisting in miscellaneous tasks for the IP team.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law (LL.B or LL.M.)
  • Thai Lawyer License (not mandatory)
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a law firm handling IP prosecution (mainly focusing on trademarks)
  • Experience in IP litigation, IP enforcement, or other IP-related matters would be an advantage.
  • Experience in dealing with local and/or foreign clients.
  • Strong practical and legal knowledge of the IP system in Thailand.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, collaborate with others, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, productive, committed, open-minded, and eager to learn.
  • Strong service mindset with a positive attitude.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
